The Computational Materials Research Group at the University of Tennessee is composed of
professors, scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students from the University of Tennessee and
Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
As a group we have many diverse interests and a variety of engineering materials and systems under investigation.
The common thread that connects all of the research projects is the use of computational tools to further our understanding of the relationship between the molecular structure of a material and its effects on macroscopic properties and processability.
